Join Dr. Avee Naidoo, HealthOne’s GP specialized in Dermatology, for a Mole Check Clinic designed to help you stay proactive about your skin health.

Appointments are quick and focused: during your visit, you will meet with a referring physician who will screen your condition and provide a referral for your mole check. Your mole of concern will then be expertly examined under a microscope (maximum of two moles per assessment) – Full process might take up to 45 minutes.

Please note: this is not a full-body check, and other dermatological concerns will not be addressed during your appointment. A valid OHIP, UHIP, or Morcare card is required.

Spots are by appointment only. Walk-ins may be available due to no shows or cancellations, but not guaranteed.

Do you think you should get your moles checked out? Here is quick criteria to determine:

A-Asymmetry: Does one half of the mole look different from the other?

B-Border: Are the edges uneven, blurred, or jagged instead of smooth and regular?

C-Colour:Does the mole have multiple colours or an uneven distribution of colour?

D-Diameter: Is the mole larger than 6mm (about the size of a pencil eraser)?

E-Evolving: Has the mole changed in size, shape, colour, or started to itch, bleed, or crust?”
