Join the world-renowned whisky expert, Davin De Kergonmeaux, as he takes you on a journey through the rich history of Canadian whisky making. This event is a unique opportunity to taste a variety of Canadian whiskies and learn from the world’s leading authority on the subject. The event will be followed by a book signing of “Canadian Whisky, Updated and Expanded (Third Edition): The Essential Portable Expert”, a fully updated and expanded guide that includes over 100 new tasting notes for Canada’s top whiskies. Event Guidelines:

  • Must have a ticket to attend this event.
  • General Admission tickets include access to the event, a copy of “Canadian Whisky, Updated and Expanded (Third Edition): The Essential Portable Expert”, 4 whisky tastings, and hors d’oeuvres.
  • Photography is permitted
  • Event and will be followed by a book signing
  • Food Supplied by The Samosarie
  • Age restriction: 19+ (ID will be checked at the door)
  • Tickets are final sale.

ACCESS TO VENUE:

  • The Wellington Event Venue is located at The Well, 486 Front St
  • Please make your way to the Grand Spadina Entry* at the intersection of Front St. and Spadina Ave.
  • Follow the signs to the access door between Groovy Shoes and Adidas.
  • Wellington Event Venue will be at the bottom of the stairs to the left. Staff will be in this area to help direct ticketholders to the venue.
  • If any attendees require assistance or accommodation, we will assist them to use the retail elevators to the Lower Ground Level access point.

*Paid underground parking at The Well can be accessed off Wellington St W. Park on Level P3 and follow the signs to the 8 Spadina Ave. lobby. Exit 8 Spadina Ave. and follow the signs to the Upper Ground level access door between Groovy Shoes and Adidas. There will be a representative at the door to direct guests down the stairs or escalator.
