Public Skating presented by Chevrolet EV

Dec 4 - 31, 2024

The Well welcomes you to The Rink. Bring your own skates or rent from our Skating Hut. All rental proceeds support the Out of the Cold Program. Online reservations are available for securing your place on the ice, and we’ve allocated additional slots specifically for walk-in bookings.

Note: The skating rink may close during severe weather or if skating conditions are considered unsafe. In such instances, all reservations will receive a notification about the closure.

CHECK-IN
For the best experience, we recommend arriving at the Skating Hut, located adjacent to The Rink on Front St W, 15 minutes before your session. If a reservation has not arrived and checked in within 5 minutes of the scheduled booking time, the booking for that session may be forfeited.

This will provide you with sufficient time to check-in, secure skate rentals, size up appropriately, and to lace up for your skating session.

SKATE RENTALS
The Skating Hut, next to The Rink, is where you can access skate rentals. Rates are $10 for adult sizes (1-12) and $5 for kids sizes (Youth 6 – Youth 13).  All rental proceeds support the Out of the Cold Program.

HELMETS & SKATE AIDS
For individuals aged 12 years and under, wearing helmets is compulsory. Although not required for those above 12, we strongly advise wearing them for your safety. Skate Aids are available to borrow from the Skating Hut with our compliments.

Please keep in mind that the availability of these items is on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure you get your preferred size, we recommend arriving early for your skating session.

ICE SKATING WAIVER

  • Participants or their parent(s) or guardian acknowledge and agree to the risks associated with ice skating.

Photographs, videotapes, recordings, or other records taken on the premises may be used for publicity.
  • Participants agree to adhere to the “Code of Skater Responsibility” posted in the ice rink area and follow instructions from the rink’s operating personnel.
  • Failure to comply with the norms of conduct may result in the termination of participants’ use of the ice skating rink, rental ice skates, and surrounding areas without a refund.
