If you strolled past the corner of Front and Spadina in Toronto 10 years ago, you probably would have had trouble envisioning the massive development that now occupies a full city block on the site. Despite being centrally located between the city’s downtown core and its hip King West neighbourhood, the plot formerly known as the “Globe lands” had remained mostly unchanged since the Globe and Mail built its offices and printing facilities there in the late 1950s.
